Broward County Firefighters Endorse Carl Domino for State Senate

FORT LAUDERDALE – The Broward County Firefighters announced today their endorsement of State Representative Carl Domino (R-Palm Beach Gardens) for Florida’s State Senate, District 25. Carl Domino is seeking to fill Sen. Jeff Atwater’s seat, who is leaving to run for Chief Financial Officer.

“On behalf of the Broward County Firefighters, we are pleased to announce our support for Carl Domino to represent us in the State Senate,” states John McNamara, President of Broward County Council of Professional Fire Fighters.  “He is an exemplary leader who has demonstrated leadership in his civilian and business life, and in the Florida House.”

Representative Domino has worked with firefighters throughout the state with his Emergency Dispatcher’s Bill in 2008, requiring educational and training criteria for emergency dispatchers to help save lives.

“We also commend State Rep. Carl Domino for his honorable service for 20 years as a Commander in the U.S. Navy,” adds McNamara. “Just as we are willing to go in harm’s way to protect citizens each day, we thank him for his military service.”
